This homemade beef stew is cooked with potatoes, celery, and carrots. It’s easy, delicious and affordable to make.
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 1 pound cubed beef stew meat
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, quartered
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
How to Cook
- Place into a slow cooker the beef stew meat. mix together In a small bowl the paprika, flour, pepper and salt then sprinkle over beef stew meat, stirring to coat.
- Stir in the teriyaki sauce, beef broth, onion, carrots, mushrooms, celery, bay leaf, garlic and potatoes. Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours while stirring occasionally.
