Homemade Beef Stew

This homemade beef stew is cooked with potatoes, celery, and carrots. It’s easy, delicious and affordable to make.

  • 2 potatoes, cubed
  • 1 pound cubed beef stew meat
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, quartered
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

How to Cook

  1. Place into a slow cooker the beef stew meat. mix together In a small bowl the paprika, flour, pepper and salt then sprinkle over beef stew meat, stirring to coat.
  2. Stir in the teriyaki sauce, beef broth, onion, carrots, mushrooms, celery, bay leaf, garlic and potatoes. Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours while stirring occasionally.
