Berry Green Smoothie

Super easy to make this healthy fruits whizzed up in the blender with Kefir having this amazing probiotics. This green berry smoothie is perfect for adults and kids. BTW, if you like another refreshment like milk tea then click here.

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup plain Kefir or yogurt
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves (you can use any greens you like: kale, chard, collard, etc.)
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup water, juice or almond milk
  • 1 cup frozen berries (blueberries are my favorite)

How to Make

  1. Place in a blender the berries, yogurt, banana, and spinach. Add any liquids that you like and blend until smooth.
  2. Add some ice cubes to the blender If you want a little more “frozen” and blend. Add the chia seeds and blend to combine. Serve immediately!

Banana Shake

This delicious banana shake is a nutritious drink that is easy to make.

  • 4 cups vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 cup half-and-half cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon banana extract
  • 1 medium banana, sliced

How to Make

  1. Combine in a blender all the ingredient and blend until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.

Apple Grape Drink

Bored on the usual plain juice? Then try making this juice by stirring together just for ingredients and you can enjoy a fizzy beverage.

  • 3 cups white grape juice, chilled
  • 6 cups apple juice, chilled
  • 1 liter club soda, chilled
  • 1 can (12 ounces) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed

How to Make

  1. Combine in a large container the juices and lemonade concentrate the stir in club soda. Pour and serve into chilled glasses.

Fresh Lemonade

This sweet and refreshing tart lemonade drink is perfect summer drink. Try making this deliciously lemonade.

  • 1 tablespoon grape juice
  • 4 cups water, divided
  • 3 lemon peel strips
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Lemon slices and maraschino cherries, optional
  • 1 cup lemon juice (about 5 lemons)

How to Make

  1. Boil in a small saucepan the sugar, 2 cups of water and lemon peel. Reduce the heat then cover and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and discard the lemon peel.
  2. Combine in a large pitcher the remaining water, grape juice, sugar mixture and lemon juice. Serve over ice and if desired garnish with lemon slices and cherries.
